The first concrete layer was poured and cheerful red, white and blue coloured balloons went up in the air.

The plan

Jazz City is a new and unique residential and leisure location at the shores of the Maas and will be developed in three phases. Soon living, shopping en experiencing will ensure a dynamic living mixture in this new to be developed city district. Jazz City is situated next to the Desiger Outlet Center with view across the water. The first phase will not only concern the construction of 'New Orleans', but also the expansion of the DOC with approx. 12.000 m2 shopping space.

It is to be expected that these two projects will be completed in the second quarter of 2017. After that, phase B (the Boulevard) and phase C (the Marina) will follow. As expected the total project will be finished in 2021. 'New Orleans' consists of 100 apartments, six of which are penthouses, ranging in size from 60 to 160 m2 with their own parking and outdoor space. The building has a two-sided orientation, one side is looking out over the river Maas and the other side has a view upon Jazz City and the city centre.
